The Reasons
  1. The right people to use by God in introducing changes, reformation or development are the religious and civic leaders.

  2. However, many years of experience show that more often than not, the religious and civic leaders are not ready to hear the voice of God. They do not want to obey the voice of the Holy Spirit.

  3. They are more interested in defending their social prestige and public esteem, than in doing what God said.

  4. They usually persecute those sent by God to reform the world.in happened several times during the times of Jesus, Moses, Daniel, St. Paul, etc.

  5. In most cases, it is the religious and civic leaders that commit abominations by changing, editing or rewriting what God said, without the public knowing that such an evil is being committed behind the scene.

  6. The leaders are usually spiritual blind and ignorant. Therefore, they do not understand God’s move and cannot explain spiritual realities of life.

  7. They want things to continue as usual, provided that they are favoured, without caring about the wellbeing of the less privileged.

  8. Because the leaders are spiritually dead, unenlightened and inexperienced, they usually frustrate God’s work by persecuting those being used by God.

  9. The religious and civic leaders are more interested in their positions of honour than in doing what God has said. They are like the parable of the unfaithful servants, who deny their master while they sit in their master’s seat and place their feet on the master’s table, busy doing nothing.

  10. Even when God is introducing changes, the leaders do not go to consult God, in order to investigate and comply.

  11. Most of them enecourage the masses to visit idols and participate in pagan activities, saying to people, “It does not matter,” “It is our custom and tradition” or “Give to Caesar that which is Caesar’s, and to God that which is God’s”.

  12. The leaders play religious politics, to the extent that they mislead the public from the Truth, while the leaders are busy telling lies and fabrications. By so doing, the leaders encourage people to remain in the wrong churches and places of worship, instead of doing what God wants.
